Detail-oriented exterior in Rome

I love this detail-oriented exterior very much, surprisingly it is not very overwhelming, instead it is quite neat . This photo was taken in Rome.

Castel Sant' Angelo in Rome Part 2

Initially Castel Sant' Angelo was built  by Emperor Hadrian as his tomb. Later it was occupied by Pope Nicholas who built a famous passaggeway called passetto , so that the Pope could walk safely to Castel Sant' Angelo from the Vatican. It was also used as a prison at the time. This photo was taken inside the Castel. I like the contrast of two lights.

Castel Sant' Angelo in Rome Part 1

As I mentioned earlier, the weather in Rome last week was pretty unstable. The downside was that we needed to bring raincoats and umbrella everywhere we went, or trying to stay indoor to avoid the rain. However the good side about it was that I could catch some interesting pictures. This one was taken at Castel Sant' Angelo, it was raining at the time but could see the sunny cloud hitting us soon :). You can capture an amazing view of Rome at Castel Sant' Angelo.

The Colosseum

Back from Rome. We had a wonderful trip except the weather, it has rained 4 days out of our 6-day trip lol. But we managed to see a lot of historical sites. I had to say thank you to Maryam for her patience, as I could spend all the time on one site just to take pictures lol.  We went to Colosseum on the first day, but it was raining but at the end the sun came, otherwise it would be difficult to take pictures. This is the stage where the Gladiators were fighting there before, it is sublime even to stand there, imagining how the gladiators fought with the animals.
