Air-Condtioning Building in Hong Kong

If you ask me the characteristic of Hong Kong Buildings, I will say they are accessorized with a lot of air conditioners and drying-clothe racks. The city is very hot especially in summer time. Basically almost every household has one. However, the city is not rich enough to install central air-conditioning. Of course there are central air conditioning in the city, but only confined to pricy neighbourhood. For drying-clothes rack ( When I was a small kid, it was bamboo instead of steel rack), it is also common scene, as Hong Kong is very small, having  space for drying-clothe machine is a luxury even though it is pretty humid there. Anyway , I find this rather interesting and unique. For sure it is a representation of true Hong Kong. The picture was taken in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
